£20,000 – £21,000 – Pension Scheme, Life Assurance – 4 times annual gross reference salary (after confirmation), 26 Annual Holidays
37 hours per week, Mon – Thursday 8.30am-5pm and on Friday 8.30am-4.30pm
Our client is a non-profit distributing, member-based association promoting knowledge and providing specialist services for construction and building services stakeholders.
They are currently recruiting for a Business Development Co-ordinator to join their team. The role focuses on the engagement of existing clients, identification of potential new clients and opportunities, qualifying of leads, coordination/generation of quotations, appointment setting for the Business Development team, and making regular calls to existing clients to maximise opportunities with existing clients.
Main duties:
- Liaison with key framework client division to ensure compliance with framework, resulting in works orders in line with build programs
- Desk based research for leads
- Pro-actively call all contacts from leads identified or provided and from External Databases
- Pro-actively follow up outstanding proposals
- Appointment setting for Business Development Managers with prospective/existing clients
- Assisting with administrative support
- Make regular retention calls to existing clients
- Provide feedback from clients
- Populate and maintain CRM system
- Follow up, coordination, generation and delivery of quotations in line with client requirements
- Assist department as required, including working with operations team to deliver client requirements
Skills and Knowledge required
- Previous experience in similar role is essential
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Confident telephone manner
- Understand the sales process and fundamentals of value selling
- Understanding of the construction industry
- Negotiation skills
- Investigative skills
- Good IT skills, especially MS Office
- Experience of customer services
